Tyra Banks seems to have made a smooth transition from modeling to becoming a television personality as she has quite a string of successes behind her. America ‘s Next Top Model has been running for seven Cycles now, and her show Tyra, so far has been surviving in the airwaves. It seems that her transition from being a working top model to a television celebrity has been well-received by various sectors of the global community, and Banks is ready to take advantage of this.

Banks continues on her journey of success by signing on a long-term deal with Warner Brothers Television, which will include more reality shows like America ‘s Next Top Model, and scripted shows, feature films, and straight-to-DVD releases.

“My new deal with Warner Bros. represents the growth of an already successful relationship we have with the Warner Bros. family,” Tyra Banks revealed. “Clearly Warner Bros. understands my brand and the reach and demand of our audience. As we move forward, we’ll be able to provide entertaining content that is both fun and compelling for film and TV.”

In fact, Warner Bros. Television President, Peter Roth is in full support of Banks, saying, “Tyra has established herself as one of television’s most versatile talents, speaking to young women in a relatable way through her highly successful talk show and [ America 's Next Top Model]. We are thrilled to continue the Studio’s relationship with her, and we look forward to translating her vision to the scripted arena.”

For starters, Banks will be working on an adaptation of the popular Clique teen novels. Early next year, the team will be producing the first two films in the series.

It was also recently announced that Tyra’s Bankable Productions will be hiring a new executive team to manage the production of her current projects. Tyra Banks seems to be serious about making it big in the entertainment industry, but she promises to keep it simple on her talk shows, as we will still be seeing her talking about hygiene, flatulence, “gaydars” and what-have-yous. She also promises to be inspirational and empowering, and not less than feminine fun.

During this episode, the ?Intervention? team will attempt to help Skylar who is experiencing psychosis, along with other side effects, from his drug addiction. Chip Coffey, MAPC, NCC, LPC, director, Outpatient Services for St. Luke’s Behavioral Health Center, was involved in Skylar’s intervention and helped to work with the family to prepare for the actual intervention.

Bath salts were banned by the FDA last year and were previously available online and at smoke shops and convenience stores around the country. Drug manufacturers have responded by tweaking the recipe for bath salts just enough to create a new product and thereby evading the law.

?There is a common misconception that if you can buy it online or in stores, then it must be safe,? said Coffey. ?Bath salt abusers experience serious side effects, including hallucinations and psychotic episodes. There is still much to learn about the long-term side effects of bath salts, but it is accurate to say that no amount of use is ever considered safe.?

St. Luke?s Behavioral Health Center?s appearance on the Emmy Award-winning reality series is part of the show?s 12th season. Twice nominated and in 2009 awarded the Emmy for Outstanding Reality Series, the five-time PRISM Award-winning series ?Intervention? profiles people whose dependence on drugs and alcohol or other compulsive behavior has brought them to a point of personal crisis or estranged them from their friends and loved ones. Each episode ends with a surprise intervention that is staged by the family and friends of the addict and which is conducted by one of four specialists: Jeff Van Vonderen, Candy Finnigan, Donna Chavous and Rod Espudo. The series has conducted 214 drug and alcohol addiction interventions since its premiere in March 2005, and approximately 162 individuals are currently sober.
